Porthole Font © 2000
This font was designed to be a "Cutout" font. I wanted a very bold font to be used with Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or similar program that would cutout text and show the maximum background. To see exactly how this font was designed to be used, select this link to see an example.
- is an original, high quality font, not available anywhere else
- has 195 characters, including upper and lower case, numbers, punctuation, foreign accented and special characters
- all characters are designed specifically for the Porthole font, with a minimum of control points to keep the file size as small as possible and still keep the characters clear
- comes with hinting to render characters at low resolution
- is a display font that is readable down to 11 points, using a 300 dpi printer
